PRIVATE BALLET COACHING
Private coaching creates space for the kind of detailed work that is difficult to achieve in a group setting — identifying technical patterns, refining movement, and addressing the areas that can make the greatest difference to a dancer’s progress.
Sessions may focus on classical technique, pointe work, strength and mobility, artistry, or preparation for auditions, competitions, and performances.
BEYOND THE CLASS
Private coaching looks beyond individual exercises to consider the dancer as a whole — their technique, physical development, confidence, and long-term progress.
INDIVIDUAL TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
Every dancer brings a different training history, physical structure, and set of habits. Coaching begins by identifying the patterns that matter most and determining where focused correction can create meaningful progress.
STRENGTH, MOBILITY & INJURY PREVENTION
Strong technique depends on more than flexibility. We develop stability, active mobility, alignment, and the specific strength needed to support greater range of motion with control and reduce unnecessary strain.
POINTE PREPARATION & POINTE WORK
Pointe work requires strength, alignment, control, and appropriate physical preparation. Coaching can support dancers preparing to begin pointe as well as those refining existing pointe technique.
CONFIDENCE & THE MENTAL SIDE OF TRAINING
Progress is also shaped by how a dancer experiences training. I pay attention to confidence, fear, frustration, pressure, and perfectionism, creating space for dancers to be challenged while still feeling supported enough to learn through mistakes.
